MatchWornShirt Founder, Tijmen Zonderwijk, commented: “The community matchday is always a special occasion so we are pleased to have been able to offer fans the chance to support the Trust and own a piece of the match simultaneously."

“The auction was part of the annual Trust Awareness Matchday – a Watford FC men’s first-team game at Vicarage Road stadium used to shine a light on the fantastic contribution of the club’s official charity to their communities and the lives of people their work touches.”

Community Director at the Trust, Rob Smith, said: “We always look forward to our Trust Awareness Matchdays; having the auction this year really magnified the support from our Watford FC family. Thank you to everyone that placed bids and to the players for their part in supporting our continued mission to make a positive difference to all through sport, physical activity and learning.”
