João Ferreira and Jeremy Ngakia will travel with the Watford squad for Saturday's Sky Bet Championship fixture against Queens Park Rangers at Loftus Road (Saturday March 11, 3pm KO), but left-back Hassane Kamara, who continues to progress in his recovery from a hamstring injury, will miss out.
The right-back duo, who have been in training for two weeks, missed out on a spot in the matchday 18 for last Saturday’s goalless draw with Preston North End but will be at new Head Coach Chris Wilder’s disposal against the Rs on the weekend.
Kamara, who is also out on the grass following confirmation that his injury is not serious, is hoping for a swift return but this weekend will prove too soon for the Ivorian.
Defender Francisco Sierralta is optimistic about the timeframe for his return from the metatarsal injury that has kept him out of action since the end of January, confirming that he hopes to help the Hornets as early as April in an update provided on Friday (March 10).
