Francisco Sierralta has trained with the first-team squad this week, so the central defender could be in contention for the Arsenal game this weekend.
Kiko FemenÃa has shaken off the knock to a hip he sustained and was also in full training this week.
Fellow defender Christian Kabasele is continuing to improve, beginning running work now as he works his way back from a hamstring strain.
Two injuries were picked up during training this week that will keep both players sidelined for some weeks. Ken Sema withdrew from the Sweden squad with an MCL injury to his knee, while Kwadwo Baah fractured his ankle and is set for a follow-up scan – so misses out on international duty with Germany.
Long-term absentee Peter Etebo (quad) is working hard at his rehab and continues to make good progress.
Finally, a reminder that forward Emmanuel Dennis, suspended last weekend for collecting five yellow cards, is back available for this Sunday’s trip to face Arsenal at Emirates Stadium (2pm kick-off).
