Ahead of Watford v Huddersfield Town on Saturday (February 24, 3pm KO), we take a look at all the stats, facts and figures surrounding the Sky Bet Championship clash.

Watford and Huddersfield shared a goalless draw in the reverse fixture this season – they have never drawn both games in a league season, with this the 17th season they have met.

Huddersfield Town won 3-2 away at Watford last season – the Terriers have never won consecutive away league games against the Hornets.

After winning three successive meetings with Huddersfield in the Championship between September 2012 and October 2013, Watford have won only three of the last eight such encounters (D1 L4).

Recent Form

Watford have lost four of their last five home league matches (D1), losing their last two in a row. In the Championship, the Hornets haven’t lost more in a row at Vicarage Road since a five-game run between October and December 2013.

Huddersfield have scored in each of their last 10 league games for the first time since September 2021; the Terriers haven’t had a longer such run in the Football League since February 2016 (run of 15).

The visitors have won just one of their last 13 away Championship matches (D6 L6), a 2-1 win at Sunderland in November.

Michał Helik is leading the way at both ends of the pitch for the Terriers, topping the goalscoring charts (8), as well as making the most clearances (155), blocks (36) and interceptions (56).

The main creative outlet so far has been Sorba Thomas, providing the most assists (9), as well as attempting the most dribbles (72) and crosses (342), and winning the most fouls (39).

Josh Koroma likes to shoot, having the most efforts on target (24) and off target (23). The forward has also been caught offside the most (11).

The side are yet to have a player sent off this season, one of only three sides in the division to boast this record along with West Brom and Ipswich Town.
