Vakoun Bayo spoke to watfordfc.com after Tom Cleverley continued his unbeaten start to life as Interim Head Coach with a goalless draw away to promotion-chasing Ipswich Town.
Read what the striker had to say below...
It was a tough game away, but I think we played very well on the night.
It was a real good performance from everyone, we were compact in a block and we got through the game.
I think it’s something good because it’s his [Cleverley's] first time coaching the first team. We have shown commitment and everyone supports each other. He’s good for us for the future.
[On Edo Kayembe's last-minute chance] We were celebrating before the goalkeeper got the ball! It was a last chance for us before the final whistle.
We are playing well at the moment. We just have to focus on the last passes. We create a lot of chances and have a lot of possession already. We need to make the final passes to have a chance to score.
Amazing fans as always. They travel everywhere to support us and we want to thank them. Thank you for this.
