Plan B: Fans Invited To Upload Covid Vaccination Status

By: Watford FC Staff

Following the Premier League's guidance as to the implementation of the government's Covid-19 Plan B relating to football matches, Watford FC now invites supporters to upload their Covid vaccination status to the club's securely-held ticketing and stadium access records.

Ahead of the Hornets’ home clashes against West Ham United on Tuesday December 28 and Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday January 1, the club and its stadium access partner have created and sent email links unique to each Season Ticket holder and match ticket buyer.

Once received via email, we would encourage all relevant supporters (excluding anyone under the age of 18) to click the link and answer the questions, regardless of their vaccination status, as these answers will confirm to the club your understanding of our part in Plan B and willingness to co-operate accordingly. This response will only need to be completed once.

The action of uploading your Covid vaccination status is entirely voluntary. The sharing of personal and confidential medical information is not enforceable. If you choose not to upload your vaccination status (or cannot due to medical exemption), you will be required to produce evidence of a negative Lateral Flow Test - taken no more than 48 hours (ideally no more than 24 hours) before kick-off.

Outside the turnstiles as you get to The Vic, this will help quickly confirm your vaccination status / proof of negative test during the spot-checking process, which will be aiming to cover up to 20 per cent of those attending games (including all of those within indoor hospitality areas).

If fans should need any assistance in confirming information with the club, or have further questions, please contact our Supporter Services Team: 01923 223023 or supporters@watfordfc.com.
