Forward Ashley Fletcher has joined fellow Sky Bet Championship side Sheffield Wednesday on a season-long loan, Watford FC confirms.
The 27-year-old signed for the Hornets in June 2021, and scored two goals in six appearances before linking up with New York Red Bulls on a temporary deal in February 2022.
A spell at Wigan Athletic last term saw him net twice in 26 league outings, and he is now reunited with former Watford boss Xisco Muñoz at Wednesday, who were promoted back to the second-tier at the end of last season.
