Official: Rotherham Loan For Quina After Recall

Watford FC confirms that midfielder Domingos Quina has joined fellow Sky Bet Championship side Rotherham United on loan until the end of the 2022/23 season, after being recalled by the Hornets from Elche CF.

Portugal youth international Quina - who has featured 37 times for the Golden Boys since signing from West Ham United in 2018 - made 11 appearances for Elche in all competitions, having joined the La Liga side on a temporary deal last summer.

Last tasting match action in a 1-0 defeat to AD Ceuta in the Copa Del Rey on January 3, Quina will now look to aid Rotherham’s push up the second-tier standings, in his fifth loan move away from Vicarage Road.

Having finished the 2020/21 campaign at Elche’s Spanish rivals Granada, Quina spent time at Fulham and Barnsley in the Championship last season before heading to the Estadio Manuel Martínez Valero.
