Forward Ignacio Pussetto has joined Italian side Sampdoria on a season-long loan deal with an option to buy, Watford FC confirms.
The Argentine made nine appearances for the Hornets after arriving from Udinese in January 2020, but spent the majority of the last two campaigns back at the Dacia Arena.
He will now pursue the next stage of his career with Sampdoria, who finished 15th - three places below Udinese - in last season’s Serie A league table.
