Official: Mebude Makes Belgium Move

By: Watford FC Staff

Watford FC confirms forward Dapo Mebude has joined Belgian side KV Oostende on a permanent deal for an undisclosed fee, with the club retaining a sell-on clause as part of the agreement.

The 21-year-old linked up with the Hornets last summer after departing Scottish giants Rangers, and he made 32 appearances in all competitions on-loan at then League One AFC Wimbledon in 2021/22, scoring twice.

Having featured for Watford in pre-season under Head Coach Rob Edwards, Mebude will now pursue the next stage of his promising career in the Jupiler Pro League, with his new side currently sitting 13th in the table.

We wish Dapo all the best for the future.
