Teenage Brazilian forward Matheus Martins has completed a loan move to Watford FC from Udinese until the end of the 2022/23 season, the club confirms.
After signing a permanent contract in Italy, the former Fluminense youngster will now look to aid the Hornets’ quest for promotion in the remainder of the current campaign.
The highly-rated 19-year-old has been training with Slaven Bilić’s squad, however his involvement in Watford’s upcoming Sky Bet Championship clash at home to Blackpool (Saturday January 14, 3pm KO) remains subject to international clearance.
