Watford FC confirms that Colombian forward Jorge Hurtado has joined Sky Bet League Two side Gillingham on loan for the rest of the season.
The 20-year-old signed for the Hornets from CD Real Cartagena in October 2022 before spending the latter half of that season on loan at Independiente MedellÃn.
Hurtado later joined MLS outfit New York Red Bulls on loan in August 2023 before returning to Vicarage Road in January.
He made his Watford debut in the 2-1 victory over Chesterfield in the third round of the Emirates FA Cup on Saturday January 6, coming on as a substitute in the 70th minute and providing the assist for Tom Dele-Bashiru’s late winner.
