Watford winger Joseph Hungbo has completed a permanent transfer to 1. FC Nürnberg.
The 23-year-old joins the German second-tier side after four years at Vicarage Road, making 17 appearances for the Hornets in all competitions.
Having signed from Crystal Palace in 2019, Hungbo made his Watford debut against Tranmere Rovers in the Emirates FA Cup the following year.
He enjoyed a successful spell on loan at Ross County in 2021/22, scoring six goals in 33 appearances and winning the Scottish Premiership outfit’s Goal of the Season and Young Player of the Season awards.
Featuring nine times for Watford during the first half of last season, Hungbo moved on loan to Huddersfield Town in January and scored three goals in 14 games as the Terriers secured Sky Bet Championship safety.
Good luck for the future, Joe!
