Young forward Shaq Forde has joined League One side Leyton Orient on a season-long loan, Watford FC confirms.
The temporary move signals the 19-year-old’s first foray into the Football League following successful loan spells at Kings Langley and York City, after making his Hornets debut in the Emirates FA Cup against Leicester City in January 2022.
Watford’s Young Player of the Season for the 2021/22 campaign, Forde most recently moved on loan to the Minstermen in December 2022 and enjoyed a prolific spell in front of goal with nine strikes in 20 appearances.
Forde will now hope to make his mark at Brisbane Road following Leyton Orient’s recent promotion to the third-tier of English football.
