Watford Head Coach Xisco Muñoz has been nominated for the Sky Bet Championship Manager of the Month award for March, while centre-half Francisco Sierralta is among the nominees for the Player of the Month prize.
The Hornets won five from five last month, scoring 12 goals and conceding only two as they rose into the automatic promotion places.
Sierralta played every minute, keeping three clean sheets and also scoring his first goal for the club – the opener in a 4-1 win at Rotherham United.
Also nominated for the Manager of the Month award are Daniel Farke (Norwich City), Valerien Ismaël (Barnsley) and Paul Warne (Rotherham United).
The other nominees for Player of the Month are Arnaut Danjuma (Bournemouth), Kenny McLean (Norwich City) and Alex Mowatt (Barnsley).
The Sky Bet Manager of the Month judging panel comprises former Barnsley manager Danny Wilson, Sky Sports’ EFL expert Don Goodman, EFL Communications Director Mark Rowan and Sky Bet EFL trader Ivor Davies. Goodman, Rowan and Davies make up the judging panel for the Sky Bet Player of the Month award.
The winners of both awards will be announced tomorrow (Friday April 9).
