A former Watford FC reporter has written a new book about his experiences covering the Hornets and other clubs during the 1990s and 2000s.
Simon Michaelson covered Watford extensively for Capital Gold Sport from 1995 until 2004 and this period of his career in sports journalism features prominently in ‘The Man Who Shouts’.
Covering the Hornets’ 1999 play-off final win over Bolton Wanderers at Wembley Stadium alongside Jonathan Pearce remains the highlight of Simon’s life in the media, and the book features interviews he conducted with the likes of Graham Taylor, Sir Elton John, Robert Page, Allan Smart, Nick Wright and more personalities from the club’s history.
