News: Academy The Topic Of Next ‘At Our Place’ Event

By: Watford FC Staff

The Hornets are pleased to offer supporters a final chance this season to talk face-to-face with key members of the club's staff at the forthcoming 'At Our Place' event.

Taking place on Wednesday May 1, with a 7.00pm start at the club’s London Colney training ground, the focus for the Q&A this time will be the Academy.

Making up the Hornets’ panel will be Academy Director Richard Johnson, Academy Head of Technical Development Jimmy Gilligan, Under-21s Lead Coach Charlie Daniels and Academy Head of Performance Peter Sharp. They will be joined by Interim Head Coach Tom Cleverley and Sporting Director Gian Luca Nani.

This informal event will be the fifth in a series of fans' Q&As this season.

Gino Pozzo and Scott Duxbury met supporters at the training ground in June, while a football-based 'At Our Place' event was also held at the same venue in August.

In January, two editions of 'At Your Place' took place, at Wealdstone FC and then the Sun Sports Club, covering commercial matters and matchday operations respectively.

To register your interest in the Academy event, we would ask that you complete the form HERE.

Details will then be shared for confirmation of attendance; firstly with those who registered an initial interest, and then to all other supporters – should numbers allow.

We hope to be able to accommodate all supporters wishing to attend, with reserve lists in operation only where venue capacity is exceeded.

We look forward to meeting you once again ‘At Our Place’ next month.
