Key Dates: Watford’s 2023/24 Campaign

Ahead of the 2023/24 campaign the bulk of Watford’s playing squad will report for pre-season training on Monday June 19, as Head Coach Valérien Ismaël ramps up preparations for the restart.

The Hornets will find out their Sky Bet Championship fixture schedule at 9am on Thursday June 22.

Pre-season matches will commence thereafter, with clashes against Boreham Wood and Stevenage having been confirmed for Wednesday July 5 (7.30pm KO) and Tuesday July 18 (7.45pm KO) respectively.

The second-tier season will then kick off across the weekend of Friday August 4 to Sunday August 6.

The Carabao Cup will follow shortly afterwards, with the first round taking place during the week commencing August 7.

Following the conclusion of the Championship season, the play-off final for the division will take place at Wembley Stadium on Sunday May 26, 2024.
