Watford’s 2022/23 Carabao Cup campaign kicks off on Tuesday evening (August 23, 7.45pm KO), with Rob Edwards’ men looking to build on their fine start to the league season and ultimately eclipse their run to the third-round last term.
The Hornets’ first opponents of this year’s competition - in the second round - are League One heavyweights MK Dons, with the match at Vicarage Road marking the first competitive meeting between the sides.
