FPL Watch: Reliable Returns And Potential Providers

By: Watford FC Staff

Another weekend of Fantasy Premier League is on its way, with a wealth of Watford options to choose from ahead of Saturday’s clash at Leeds United.

Some Hornets are already racking up the points this season, while others are showing potential to become bright sparks in your FPL squad.

Ismaïla Sarr has continued to bring home a healthy return for FPL managers who have shown faith in him.

Sarr scored and received two bonus points from last weekend’s draw with Newcastle, and has also gone up in price to £6.3m, having started the season at £6.0m**.

** FPL prices are subject to constant change.

Given Sarr’s impressive start to 2021/22, it’s little surprise he has caught the attention of the experts, with FPL’s ‘The Scout’ recommending the Senegal international.

Joshua King [£5.5m] assisted Sarr for the third time in two matches against the Magpies, and his winner was ruled out for offside late on.

The 29-year-old has continued to show potential to score goals and points, and if he can continue to provide for Sarr and his teammates he may become a must-have in the attack.

Ozan Tufan [£5.0m] made his Premier League debut last week, and is up to full fitness. The Turkey midfielder showed tenacity in his driving runs and range of passing against Newcastle, racking up 22 carries, six progressive passes and four key passes in just 45 minutes.

João Pedro [£5.4m] also made his first appearance of the campaign from the bench, and provides another attacking option for Head Coach Xisco Muñoz. The Brazilian made 38 appearances in the Championship last season, scoring nine times.
