Watford’s trip to Sunderland on Wednesday October 4 (7.45pm KO) has been chosen for co-exclusive broadcast by Sky Sports.
While there is no change to the date and kick-off time for the Sky Bet Championship fixture, it will now be shown live on Sky Sports Arena and remain available for video streaming to domestic and overseas supporters via Hive Live.
No further fixtures involving Watford between the weekend of Saturday September 23 and up to and including the weekend of Saturday October 7 have been selected for TV broadcast, meaning the trip to Leeds United (Saturday September 23, 3pm KO), the home clash against Middlesbrough (Saturday September 30, 3pm KO) and the away game at Cardiff City (Saturday October 7, 3pm KO) remain set as previously scheduled.
Hive Live video streams for these matches will be available to overseas supporters only, due to the Saturday 3pm blackout. Further details will be communicated in due course.
Additionally, the Hornets’ home fixture against Birmingham City on Saturday September 16 (3pm KO) will now be broadcast overseas by the EFL’s broadcast partner IMG to rightsholders in territories which wish to show the game.
A Hive Live video stream for this game will therefore be available in EFL Broadcast Exempt territories only, which will be communicated in due course.
