Watford’s Sky Bet Championship match against West Bromwich Albion at The Hawthorns has been rescheduled for Monday August 8 (8pm KO), and has been selected for live broadcast.
Due to the Commonwealth Games being held in Birmingham this summer, the fixture has been rearranged from its original date of Saturday August 6.
The Hornets’ first away match of the second-tier season has also been selected by Sky Sports for TV.
While Watford’s season-opening home game against Sheffield United will also be shown live on Sky Sports (Monday August 1), the remaining fixtures for August remain subject to change for TV selection. Any further changes will be announced in due course.
With Vicarage Road’s centenary fast approaching (August 30), the club will celebrate the milestone during the home fixtures against Queens Park Rangers (August 27) and Middlesbrough (August 30).
