Watford FC is pleased to confirm new contract offers for a number of Under-18 and Under-23 players.

The recently-announced winner of the Hornets’ Young Player of the Season award, Shaq Forde, has been offered a professional deal, alongside 17-year-old defender Ryan Andrews and 18-year-old midfielder Adian Manning.

Alfie Marriott, who helped Kings Langley secure safety in the Southern League Premier Division South with a penalty save on the final day of the campaign in April, has been offered a third-year scholarship.

Elsewhere in the Under-18s squad, striker Damani Hunter has had his current contract extended into the 2022/23 season.

Among the Under-23s, Marriott’s fellow goalkeeper Myles Roberts - a regular starter for loan side Concord Rangers in the National League South during 2021/22 - and Sonny Blu Lo-Everton - who recently completed a temporary spell at Yeovil Town - have both been offered new contracts.

The following Under-23 players will be departing the club upon the end of their contracts this summer: Derek Agyakwa, Dante Baptiste, Jack Broome, Jack Burchell, Ryan Cassidy, Jimiel Chikukwa, Kamil Conteh, Kane Crichlow, Jordan Harrison, Dominic Hutchinson, Andi Janjeva, George Langston, Kyrell Lisbie, Kyreece Lisbie, Josh O’Brien, Adam Parkes, Dan Phillips, Maurizio Pochettino and Henry Wise.

Four Under-18 players will be leaving the club at the end of their scholarships: Will Hall, Freddie Moriarty, Enoch Muwonge and Ben Smith.

We thank all departing players for their contributions to Watford FC and wish them well in their future careers.
