It wasn't just first-teamers Ismaïla Sarr and Joshua King thriving on the international stage, with some of the Under-23s and Under-18s representing their countries at youth and senior level in recent weeks.

Kamil Conteh continues to make landmark appearances this season, with the midfielder making his senior debut for Sierra Leone.

Two months after his first appearance in the senior squad for Watford, coming off the bench against Leicester City in the FA Cup, Conteh donned his national colours for the first time in AFCON qualifiers.

The 19-year-old played the full 90 for Leone Stars in a 3-0 defeat to Togo on March 23, going on to play half an hour of their 1-0 win over Liberia. Rounding off a successful international break, he played the full game in a 2-1 win over the Republic of the Congo.

In Under-21s action, Tiago Cukur made another appearance for Turkey, his fifth at that level. The striker played the full game in a 2-0 win over Scotland.

Meanwhile, Andi Janjeva was an unused substitute as Kosovo Under-21s played out a goalless draw with Slovenia.

Christos Batzelis represented Albania Under-19s for two games, both against Kosovo, while Welsh defender George Abbott started all three of his country’s Under-17 internationals, defeats against Slovenia, Turkey and Serbia.
