Academy: Contract Offers & Departures Confirmed

Watford FC is pleased to confirm new contract offers for several players within the Academy ranks.

From the Under-21s, goalkeepers Alfie Marriott and Myles Roberts join defender Aidan Coyne in being offered new deals, while midfielder Luigi Gaspar’s contract has been extended.

Following the news that Tobi Adeyemo signed his first professional deal in April, fellow Under-18s George Abbott, Hamzat Balogun, James Collins, Charlie Davis, Zak Fraser-Grante, Jack Grieves, Dawid Hamiga and Jonathan Macaulay have also been offered contracts.

A contract offer was made to Adrian Blake, however the forward will be joining Dutch outfit Utrecht when he turns 18 next month.

The following Under-21 players will be departing the club upon the end of their contracts this summer: Max Delyfer, Jordan Fankwe, Damani Hunter, Adian Manning, JJ McKiernan and Ezio Touray.

Meanwhile, several Under-18s will also be leaving the Hornets at the end of their scholarships: Andres Aguilar, Christos Batzelis, Aaron Benn, Ethan Goulding, Bogdan Marian, Billy Osborn and Harvey Peters.
