GT Matchday Tickets: Pay-On-The-Day Available

Tickets for The Graham Taylor Matchday - which will see Watford host Italian Serie A side Sampdoria at Vicarage Road this afternoon (August 4) - remain on general sale.

Supporters can pay on the day, with the Ticket Office open between 9am and kick-off to facilitate matchday purchases.

The Hornets' final pre-season fixture ahead of the 2018/19 campaign will be played this afternoon at 3pm.

Due to high demand, blocks 1, 2, 6 and 7 in the Upper Graham Taylor Stand have now been made available for sale, with the Sir Elton John Stand now sold out.

Tickets are available online at watfordfctickets.co.uk and are priced as follows:

Adult £12
65 & Over £9
Full-Time Student £6
18 & Under £3

Visiting Sampdoria fans will be accommodated in the usual east side of the Vicarage Road Stand.


A statue of Graham Taylor OBE will be unveiled before the game, with the exact time and location of the ceremony to be announced shortly.

The Hornets Shop will also be open on Sunday August 5, from 10am-4pm.

GT Matchday: Statue Unveiling Ceremony Details

Today we honour Watford’s greatest ever manager at The Graham Taylor Matchday (Saturday August 4).
 
Italian Serie A side Sampdoria will be the visitors, with a 3pm kick-off, however you’ll want to get to Vicarage Road nice and early to play a full part in proceedings.
 
The much anticipated Graham Taylor statue unveiling ceremony will begin at 12.30pm outside The Hornets Shop and will last approximately 30 to 40 minutes, with all supporters warmly welcome and encouraged to attend.
 
Please note that Vicarage Road will be closed to traffic from 12noon, while The Hornets Shop will also close at the same time.
 
A special souvenir programme - on sale for £3 each, or two copies for £5 - will be available around the ground once the unveiling has taken place.
