Graham Taylor Matchday | Pay On Day Available

With just a day to go until The Graham Taylor Matchday, there's still time to secure your place at The Vic as we pay tribute to the Hornets' greatest ever manager.

It promises to be a special afternoon as Watford and Real Sociedad contest The Graham Taylor Trophy on Saturday August 5 (3pm KO), and tickets remain on general sale over at watfordfctickets.co.uk.

Any online orders placed from now on will need to be collected from the Ticket Office.

Pay-on-the-day will also be available via the Ticket Office, which opens at 9am on matchday. Please arrive as early as possible to avoid queues.

Read on for further information on ticketing and sales arrangements.

Kick-off is at 3pm but there will be a host of family fun activities, run by the Hornets’ Community Trust, in Stadium Way (behind the Rookery Stand) from 12noon until 2.30pm and within the Rookery Stand lower concourses.

Activities includes a test of accuracy from adidas, family circus arena, inflatable bouncy castle and a whopping eight-lane Scalextric race-track.

Friend of Graham's family John Motson will address the crowd before the teams take to the field, where they'll be presented to Rita Taylor.

Former Watford players from both Graham Taylor eras will be paraded during half-time, while a presentation of The Graham Taylor Trophy will take place on the pitch shortly after full-time.

Pereira | “A Dream Come True”

Academy graduate Dion Pereira has described signing his first professional contract as "a dream come true", after penning a two-year deal with the Hornets.

The 18-year-old, who made two substitute appearances in the Premier League last season, says the hard work put in over his time as a scholar has paid off now he has earned a professional deal.

"The manager kept us on our toes and we worked really hard, which got our fitness levels up, so looking back it was worth it," he said.
