My Hometown: James Morris

By: Watford FC Staff

In the ‘My Hometown’ series, the Golden Boys reflect on their humble beginnings, lifting the lid on what’s special about the place they call home.

Next up is defender James Morris, who hails from Fareham, England...

How would you describe your hometown?

It’s quite quiet and by the sea, which is really nice. It’s really decent and where I grew up. If I had to choose one standout feature, it would be the quietness.

Traditional dish?

There are a lot of fish and chip shops because it’s by the sea, so I’d probably say that.

Drink you’d have with it?

When I was at school everyone used to get Lucozade, so I’ll go with that!

Favourite restaurant?

Probably Wildwood, which is a place right by the sea. It’s really nice and they do a bit of everything there, which is why I like it.

Sight you have to see?

I’d definitely show them the seafront. It looks great in the evenings and it’s a lovely view.

If you could introduce a visitor to one person?

There aren’t many famous people from there that I know of. I’d probably introduce them to my best mate because that would be a bit of a laugh.
