Want a Wembley ticket? Then read on…

Watford FC will play Manchester City in the Emirates FA Cup Final at Wembley Stadium on Saturday May 18, 2019 (5pm kick-off).

After consultation with our ticketing partner Ticketmaster, the Hornets’ Ticket Office will run all off-line elements of this operation – including the handling of telephone calls and the physical distribution of the tickets themselves – while Ticketmaster will concentrate on overseeing the web-based sales. We expect they will deliver all of our supporters a first-class online buying experience.

As ever, the club’s Ticket Office team commits to treating supporters fairly and equitably at all times, during what – as you’ll read – will be a process broken down by specially-created ‘Cup Final Groups’.

We would urge all supporters to take a little time to carefully read the below information, as well as the separate Ticket Sales Arrangements details PDF, as we hope to have covered here most matters that are likely to be on everyone’s minds right now.

The Hornets have an allocation of 28,000 tickets. In addition to this, some Premium Level 2 seating may become available for sale to supporters during the process.

There will be no additional charges of any kind made to supporters when purchasing their FA Cup Final tickets.

Given the allocation and demand among supporters to attend, all tickets will be sold on a one per eligible Fan ID basis.

A maximum booking size of eight will apply to online purchases. Those wishing to book for groups of nine or more should purchase via phone or in-person.

Those supporters who fall within Cup Final Group A and Cup Final Group B purchasing groups are guaranteed their Wembley ticket, as per the numbers below.

FA Cup Final Group A: includes current Season Ticket Holders only (c 13,500)

FA Cup Final Group B: includes match ticket buyers in Home Groups A & B and Away Group B (c. 8,500)

FA Cup Final Group C: includes match ticket buyers in Home Group C and Away Group D that have two or more ticket purchases assigned to Fan ID (c. 22,000)

FA Cup Final Group D: includes match ticket buyers in Home Group C and Away Group D that have only one ticket purchase assigned to Fan ID (c. 44,000)

FA Cup Final Group E: includes Home Group D (Season Ticket holders buying one extra ticket for someone already on the ticketing database)

FA Cup Final Group F: includes all supporters on the ticketing database whose last ticket purchase was before July 2014

Ticket purchases are subject to availability, and will not be sold via General Sale at any time. Data will include all purchases up to 9am on Thursday April 11.

Not a Season Ticket holder and want to know Group you’re in?

From Tuesday April 16 (when the Cup Final Groups have been applied to the system), log into your online Ticketmaster account and your Cup Final Group should show at both the homepage screen and as part of your transaction history in your ‘Account’ section.

Please feel free to buy online if you wish, or we’re happy to offer a more personalised service over the phone. The email address can be used to request a call-back from one of Watford FC’s Ticket Office team. Please provide names, Fan ID numbers, details of the tickets you wish to buy and full contact details.

Sales will begin on Wednesday April 17. Each new sale cycle will start at 9.00am, with any queue cleared down and ticket purchasing disabled for 30 minutes beforehand on each occasion.

Similar to away matches, we would like to offer a small number of Category 2 and Category 3 tickets to those supporters who would prefer to be guaranteed to be able to sit for the duration of the game. Such purchase requests should be made via the club’s Supporter Liaison Officer Dave Messenger via (with subject line ‘FA Cup Final: Non-Standing Seats’, providing names, Fan ID numbers and full contact details.

The 1881 Movement will once again be administrating the sale of a block of seats towards the back of Blocks 133-135 in the lower tier. Supporters must qualify with an eligible Fan ID number at the point they apply to for a ticket purchase.

Tickets for the family area can be purchased online at the front of lower tier blocks 128, 129, 139 & 140 and upper tier blocks 538, 539, 540 & 541.

We reserved a total allocation of 100 seats (50 pairs) for sale, via ballot, to supporters who have been overseas for some years and therefore do not have a ticket purchasing history since 2014 (start of qualifying period for ticket access groups). The ballot closed at 5pm BST on Monday April 15. The club will contact all who entered by Friday April 19.
