News: Watford Announce Sleeve Partnership With MoPlay

Watford FC is delighted to announce it has reached an agreement with MoPlay to become the club’s new sleeve partner from the beginning of the 2018/19 season. 

MoPlay is a revolutionary new mobile betting brand, launched with ambitious plans to upgrade the game. Its new app provides customers with a fast, simple, personal and secure service, aimed at enhancing user experience like never before. 

MoPlay boasts a bold, modern design tailored for a new generation of tech savvy sports fans, and is purpose-built to bring them a more entertaining way to play. The MoPlay offering focusses on live in-play experiences for the micro moments that matter most across its product portfolio of sports, casino and games. 

As the club finalises its preparations for the new Premier League season, we are delighted to welcome a partner which shares our vision for on and off-pitch growth over the next 12 months and beyond. 

The new relationship will see MoPlay’s full logo appear on the sleeve of the Watford home shirt, while the brand’s app icon will sit proudly on the away shirt sleeve.  

Not only is this the club’s largest sleeve sponsorship deal to date, but we are delighted that MoPlay chose Watford as a strategic partner as it launches its exciting new brand to coincide with the start of the season. It is further demonstration of the growing appeal of Watford around the world as we continue to progress both on and off the pitch.

Watford FC will be working closely with MoPlay to develop activation initiatives in a range of markets and we look forward to the benefits this will bring the club over the course of the season ahead. 

Importantly, MoPlay is committed to helping us reward Watford’s fans for their support, and we will be announcing a number of initiatives that will delight our most ardent supporters.

Horizons: New-Look Lounge To Open

Watford Football Club are delighted to announce that Horizons will open this month, replacing the Captain’s Bar at Vicarage Road. 

Following a summer of building work, the new-look lounge will be a larger footprint, with the room being extended to the west of the stadium. Furthermore, it will have a large central bar which will be the feature piece of the room, as well as floor-to-ceiling glazing looking out to the pitch.

Horizons will also come with an ever-changing sports bar menu, served straight from the kitchen. 

Horizons allows all the family to enjoy the comfort of matchday hospitality and for a great price. The room will remain predominantly a season ticket holder lounge, where you will receive the following on a matchday:

•    Access to the lounge pre-match, half-time and full-time 
•    Membership cards and lanyards
•    Access to a private cash bar
•    Drinks purchasable pre-match, half-time and post-match from a wide selection of real ales, beers, wines and soft drinks
•    Pre-order service for half-time refreshments
•    Wide range of pre-match meal options from the new sports bar menu 
•    Complimentary teamsheets and programmes
•    Watch live televised Premier League fixtures pre-match and after the game (subject to TV schedules) 
•    Discounted upgrades to other hospitality lounges, as part of the Executive Club membership

•    Under-16s: £95
•    Under-10s: free of charge
