Matchday Travel: Hornets Announce Mullanys Partnership
The Hornets are delighted to confirm a new partnership for the provision of supporter matchday travel with Mullanys Coaches Ltd, a local company familiar to many fans.
Watford FC's Supporter Liaison Officer Dave Messenger said of the agreement: "The club loves to work with renowned suppliers from around our local community, especially those with an established reputation in their industry.
"And one of the key reasons behind our choice, aside from the obvious benefit of geography, was the company's long-term investment in the provision of enhanced accessible services on all of the coaches in the fleet our supporters will use."
Mullanys Director Sue Viney said: "With over 50 years of providing bus and coaching services in Watford, we at Mullanys Coaches are proud to begin a new partnership with Watford Football Club - a club close to many of our employees' hearts.
"We hope that this will be a long and successful relationship and our friendly team of drivers are looking forward to welcoming their fellow supporters onto our coaches for the trip to Burnley in August."
Added Messenger, whose role also encompasses Disability Access Officer duties: "I think our fans will really notice the difference in terms of that personal touch to the service, ensuring we accommodate all of our travelling fans' wishes.
"Hand-in-hand with this move, we're also committing once again to ensure the longest awayday trips still cost no more than £40 for match ticket and travel combined."
Exact club coach travel prices for away fixtures will be confirmed as match tickets are prepared for sale.
For now, it's a big welcome to the Watford family to Mullanys Coaches Ltd and all of their staff, many of whom are Hornets' fans.
