Christian Kabasele reflects on his Belgium debut over the international break

Kabasele | “A Dream Come True”

It was an international break to remember for Watford defender Christian Kabasele.

The 25-year-old made his international bow last week for Belgium, playing the full 90 minutes in their 1-1 draw with the Netherlands.

Speaking to, Kabasele admitted it was a dream come true to represent his country.

“It was a great feeling for me,” the Belgian proudly stated.

“Every footballer wants to play for his national team, I made it and it was a big dream for me that came true.

“Three years ago I was still a striker and now I'm an international defender, it's a little bit crazy. No-one could say that a few years ago that I would be a national player, it's very crazy and I don't think I realise that yet.”
