Daryl Janmaat looking for consistency following Arsenal win

Janmaat | “We Have To Do The Same On Saturday”

While most Watford fans were still celebrating Tuesday night's 2-1 win over Arsenal in the vicinity of the Emirates Stadium, Daryl Janmaat was already turning his attention to tomorrow's home clash with Burnley.

The Dutchman played an instrumental role on a damp night in north London, as goals from Younes Kaboul and skipper Troy Deeney secured a much-needed and morale boosting victory against Arsene Wenger's in-form Gunners.

While readily acknowledging the importance of the three points, Janmaat was also keen to stress the importance of maintaining that level of performance when Burnley visit The Vic.

"It's a massive result, especially as other teams below us won," he told watfordfc.com after the match.

"A massive result and a big win and now we have to carry on and try to do the same on Saturday and get ourselves back on track.

"We know if we can win on Saturday then we can look forward and try to get back into the top ten.

"But it will be another tough game because Burnley are doing really well, so we have to prepare well and be ready for the game."
