Loan Lads | Bradbury Scores For Saints

Harvey Bradbury scored his first goal for St Albans City in their 2-1 over Concord Rangers at Thames Road on Saturday.

The young forward, son of former Portsmouth and Bournemouth striker Lee, joined the Saints on-loan in January.

He’s largely been behind former Aldershot man Charlie Walker and Sam Merson – son of Paul – in the pecking order, but has earnt praise from his manager after his patience paid off with a start and a goal against The Beach Boys at the weekend.

Costel Pantilimon continued his fine form for Nottingham Forest with his third successive clean sheet in a 0-0 draw with Sheffield United in the Championship.

Mauro Zárate’s boyhood club Vélez drew 1-1, with Watford’s Argentine forward getting on the scoresheet against Arsenal de Sarandí from the penalty spot. It was his third goal in seven matches for El Fortín.

In La Liga, Nordin Amrabat played as a striker in Leganes' 2-1 win over Sevilla, who finished the game with 10 men.

Meanwhile Isaac Success got over an hour under his belt in Malaga’s goalless draw with Celta Vigo. Malaga desperately need to start picking up results, with just seven games of the season remaining they are 13 points behind the team in 17th place.

Brice Dja Djédjé played the full 90 as RC Lens fell to top-of-the table Stade de Reims in Ligue 2.

Alex Jakubiak played for Falkirk and saw a fantastic effort saved by Livingston keeper Neil Alexander in a goalless draw for the Bairns.

And finally, Connor Stevens played the full game as Oxford City beat Welling United 3-1 to move 10 points clear of the drop zone in the National League South.
