The 2017/18 strip is the first creation from the partnership with the club and adidas. The yellow from the club’s DNA is combined with subtle red piping and the famous 3 stripe markings. Simple but powerful black shorts and socks create a modern take on the club’s iconic colours.
Innovation is at the heart of the kit with both the jersey and short featuring ventilated adidas climacool® to keep you cool and dry, along with a woven crest execution designed to reduce irritation on the skin.

Cathcart | "Exciting Times"

A new contract, a return from injury and the prospect of working under Marco Silva - just three reasons why Craig Cathcart is excited ahead of the new Premier League campaign!

The Northern Irishman has put pen to paper on new four-year deal, keeping him with the Hornets until 2021.

“I’m delighted,” said Cathcart, who was speaking to the watfordfc.com cameras.

“Since I came to the club things have been on an upward curve for me, and I want to continue that and help the club move in the right direction.

“The training ground is getting better, the stadium is looking fantastic and the squad we’ve built is great. It’s exciting times for the club and I want to have as much success as possible here.”

With a new man at the helm in Silva, the 28-year-old defender admitted that he can’t wait to get started as he continues his recovery at the London Colney training ground following a knee problem.

“I missed the last few games of the season through injury, so I’m just trying to make sure I’m 100 per cent fit for pre-season and I’m fresh and ready to go,” he said.

“Looking at it from the outside, it looked like he [Silva] did a great job at Hull. They had a quick turnaround and won quite a few games.

“It's exciting though and now I’m looking forward to getting back in for pre-season and working hard together.”
