Premier League Kicks Project Officer 

Salary: £18,000 - £24,000, fixed term contract of two years

If so then you may be the person we are looking for. This position presents an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual to join our team, based at Cedars Youth & Community Centre in Harrow.

We are looking to recruit a full-time (40 hours per week) Project Officer who will be responsible for leading on the management, coordination and delivery of the Trust’s Premier League Kicks programme.  The Officer will work closely with the Community Development Manager, as well as a range of partners to further develop our offer, as well as monitor and evaluate the impact and outcomes achieved.

The role involves managing sessional staff and volunteers to ensure that the services offered are of the highest quality and provide opportunities which inspire, motivate and empower young people to realise their potential.  The Officer will also be expected to support and develop new inclusion based initiatives for the Trust. 

The role will include working on matchday activities and seasonal events run by the Trust, as and when required.

The ideal candidate will have:

•    A proven track record of working on football/sports based youth diversionary projects, including experience of working hard to engage young people in a range of settings.
•    Experience of developing positive partnerships with a range of organisations. 
•    Level 2 Certificate in Coaching Football.
•    Experience of managing or supervising staff/volunteers. 
•    Proficient IT skills.  
•    Experience of project management, report writing and working with budgets.
•    A passion to make a difference through sport and education.
•    A full and valid UK driving licence with access to a vehicle for business use.
