Watford FC & Arriva arrange free bus travel to and from The Vic

Boxing Day | Free Buses For Hornets Fans

With public transport not available on Boxing Day, Watford FC and Arriva have arranged for free chartered bus services to help Hornets’ supporters get to and from Vicarage Road from the surrounding areas for the match against Leicester City.

The buses will run a single trip from each of seven locations at a specific departure time, with fans required to show a valid Season Ticket, Fan Card or paper match ticket to board.

Return journeys will depart from outside the stadium at approximately 5.15pm.

“We appreciate the difficulty many of our fans will face trying to get here on Boxing Day,” said Dave Messenger, the club’s Supporter Liaison Officer.

“We hope that providing these buses will help those who may otherwise have had to miss the match, and we thank Arriva for their support in making the arrangements.”

Buses will leave from Abbots Langley, Aylesbury, Garston, Hemel Hempstead, Maple Cross (via Rickmansworth) and St. Albans, with the full schedule downloadable by clicking HERE.
