MUCH travelled central defender “One Size” Fitz Hall has added some vital Championship experience to the Hornets’ back-line, since signing on a free transfer in the summer of 2012.

Hall was a regular presence in Queens Park Rangers’ defence in the 2011/2012 campaign, making 16 appearances before injury ended his season in February.

A physical presence and great reader of the game, the 6ft 4” Barnet academy graduate spent time with Oldham and Southampton before a big money move to Crystal Palace in 2004.

Eighty-two appearances and a full season in the Premier League later, Hall made the move north to Wigan Athletic, again competing in the top flight under then Latics manager Paul Jewell.

A brief stay in Lancashire, just one season, and QPR recruited Hall, the Walthamstow born stopper making just under 100 appearances for the hoops, either side of a brief loan spell at Newcastle in 2010.
