FOOTBALL BUSINESS DIRECTOR
ROSS WILSON was appointed as Watford's Head of Football Business in June 2011. He took over the role, which had previously been merged with the Head of Academy, from John Stephenson.
Ross, who was born and grew up in Falkirk, began his football career at his local club, Falkirk FC as the Head of Education and Welfare then progressed onto being the Head of Football Development.
He set up the highly successful Academy structure at the Scottish club which is now proving fruitful and bringing players through the ranks into the first team.
This experience stands Ross in very good stead as he takes over the reigns of a position where communication between the recruitment team at WFC and the Harefield Academy is key.
Ross oversees the day-to-day running of the recruitment and football administration departments at Watford and also deals with contractual issues and agency networking.
Ross works very closely with the Head of Academy Nick Cox as well as Watford manager Sean Dyche.
His job title was amended in December 2011 to fall in line with other members of the club's Executive Board.

Nick Cox - Head of Academy |
HEAD OF ACADEMY
NICK COX was appointed this summer into this newly-created role - and will work alongside Ross Wilson as, between their two remits, the pair shape the next generation of Watford first-team player.
Cox has been with the Hornets for over a decade, joining initially as a part-time coach within what's now the Community Trust set-up, before progressing to full-time roles within the Academy.
His most recent position was Academy Manager U12-U16, working under John Stephenson who held dual responsibilities for Academy and recruitment.
Now, with those two key roles separated, Cox will head up the Academy structure, and be the focal point of contact for the club's trusted relationship with The Harefield Academy.
