Youth Team Coach: Joe McBride

JOE McBride joined the Hornets' backroom staff as Youth Team Coach in June 2010.

The former winger has played at Everton, Rotherham and Oldham, as well as several Scottish clubs including Hibernian and Dundee.

McBride's coaching career took off when he moved into a role as Youth Team coach at Celtic FC, which he held for over ten years. Then, in 2008, he became First Team Coach at Újpest FC in Budapest, Hungary alongside Willie McStay.

Goalkeeper Coach: Alec Chamberlain

Alec Chamberlain is a Watford legend having played for the Hornets in well over 250 games since he moved from Sunderland in 1996.

The goalkeeper enjoyed a testimonial season in 2005/06 and retired after appearing as a substitute in Watford's final Premier League fixture in 2006/07 against Newcastle United.

Appointed to the coaching staff in between those dates, Alec is now a long-standing and well respected member of the Hornets' backroom staff. He now focuses on the goalkeepers at Vicarage Road and takes a keen interest in the development of the younger 'keepers at the club.

Football Operations Manager: Iain Moody

As Football Operations Manager Iain Moody is detailed with the smooth running of the Football Department and its administration on a day-to-day basis, co-ordinating all football-related activities undertaken by Watford Football Club.

Head Of Conditioning/Coach: Martyn Pert 

Pert returned to Watford in summer 2009 after a spell at Fulham.

The Conditioning Coach had previously been at Watford as the club's Sports Scientist during Aidy Boothroyd's reign and returned to take the position of Head of Conditioning/Coach in Mackay's new team.

Pert has a background in sport, particularly in football having worked at several clubs in England including Norwich City.

Spanish-speaking Pert also brings an international flavour to the team in Hertfordshire having worked as the Conditioning Coach for Miami Heat basketball team in USA and having held positions in Brazil and Argentina.

Head of Medical: Richard Collinge

Collinge started off at Crystal Palace's Youth Academy, working his way from the U9's to the U18s having studied a degree at Nottingham University.

Having made an impression in the industry, Collinge moved onto Brentford, working under Steve Coppell.

Collinge, who has recently finished studying for his MSc, has been part of the Watford set-up since 2002, firstly in the position of Academy physio and then moving up to work with the first team.

Following the departure of Andy Rolls in June 2009 and under the new leadership of Mackay, Collinge takes up the position of Head of Medical at Watford FC.

Strength and Conditioning Coach: Mathew Monte-Colombo

Monte joined the club in July 2008. He is responsible for writing and implementing strength programs for the First team and Academy squads. He also plays a role in the final stages of rehabilitation of players who are returning from injuries.

Chief Performance Analyst: Neil McIlhargey

Neil McIlhargey provides detailed statistical analysis to the coaching staff on a daily basis relating to both training and match action. These statistics provide the basis for effective coaching and detail any potential weaknesses in an individual's or team's play. Neil meticulously codes and analyses games and can provide analysis as soon as the final whistle goes.

Kit Manager: Will Jones

Kit Manager Will Jones is responsible for the training kit and match kit for all members of the football staff. On a matchday he and his assistant Craig Charles are also responsible for the dressing rooms and all associated equipment for use by the various teams that Watford field.
