THE Hornets signed the Peterborough man to ease the goalkeeping crisis at Vicarage Road after injuries struck Mart Poom and Scott Loach.
Tyler is a 31-year-old stopper and is Peterborough's longest serving player having appeared on over 400 occasions for the Posh.
He arrives at Vicarage Road after a wretched injury crisis has hit all areas of Watford's squad.
Goalkeeper coach Alec Chamberlain knew of Tyler's availability and moved quickly to sign the Posh stopper on loan.
