A WATFORD debut, a first senior goal and full caps for Northern Ireland all adds up to quite a 2010-11 season for central defender Adam Thompson.
Captain of the Academy Under-18 side until his elevation to regular first-team matchday squad member, Thompson - who signed a new Hornets' contract in summer 2011 - scored his maiden first-team goal against Preston North End in February 2011.
The defender's debut came as a 17-year-old in August 2010, when Watford hosted Notts County in a Carling Cup Round Two tie. He went on to end 2010-11 with 12 appearances and that PNE strike to his name.
