Hodson is another graduate from the Club's successful Academy.
He made his debut for the first team on the final day of the 2008/09 season when he came on as a second half substitute against Derby County at Vicarage Road.
The talented defender from Borehamwood is highly regarded by staff at the Club and he has made a speedy rise towards the first team squad.
The versatile player excelled for both the youth and reserve teams before being handed his first-team opportunity. He played for Watford in the prestigious Milk Cup tournament as well as the Copa Amsterdam competition.
Hodson's current contract ties him to Watford until 2012. His steady form for Watford has seen him chosen to represent Northern Ireland where he has been capped at Under-19 and 21 level.
In his first full season with the first-team squad in 2009/10, Hodson made 34 appearances in all competitions.
