ACADEMY graduate Lee Hodson has now clocked up well over 60 first-team appearances for the Hornets - as well as earning his first four full caps for Northern Ireland during the 2010-11 campaign.
A right-back by trade, Hodson was asked to fill in on the left-hand side of defence for a time by his manager Malky Mackay last term.
He suffered a self-confessed dip in form, not helped by a persistent illness, but battled back with admirable resolve to finish the season with not only with some strong performances but also a maiden first-team goal; away at Leeds United in mid-April.
Already recognised at Under-17 and Under-19 levels, Borehamwood resident Hodson stepped up to the senior Northern Ireland side for a debut against Morocco in November 2010.
More than 30 appearances in each of the last two years for the full-back is testament to his progress since making his debut during the final match of 2008-09.
