THE unlucky 13 shirt turned out to be very lucky for Jonathan North, Watford's 18-year-old goalkeeper from Waltham Forest, as 2009 saw his step up to the first team.
The academy graduate signed a one year professional contract with the 'Orns on July 1st
The former academy keeper rejoins the club under the leadership of Malky Mackay after being released by former boss Brendan Rogers at the end of last season, following his two year scholarship with the Golden boys.
North has been capped by Wales at various youth levels and will now provide cover and competition to first choice keepers Scott Loach and Richard Lee.
The 18 year old appeared 16 times for the academy last season, while he also turned out on three occasions for the reserves.
