Rob Kiernan is another product of the Hornets' much respected Academy.
He made his first team debut in the FA Cup fourth round victory over Crystal Palace at Vicarage Road in January 2009.
Up until the 2008/09 season, Kiernan had played at the heart of Watford's midfield for the various age groups he has represented, however a move back to centre half was suggested, and he has since been working hard at his game.
Kiernan is a true product of the clubs pioneering Academy, having been at the Club since the age of nine, and progressed up through the ranks.
The impressive defender has capped an impressive season by being called up by the Republic of Ireland Under 19s squad.
Kiernan joined Scottish Premier League side Kilmarnock on loan in January 2010 after signing a one-year contract extension at Vicarage Road.
