NATURALLY a central midfield player, Jenkins showed his worth to the club by filling a number of positions during his first year scholarship with the Hornets.
He cemented a place in the Academy side during 2007/08 and made a seamless transition to the second team as well, occupying the full back positions when need be.
After impressing boss Aidy Boothroyd during pre-season 2008 Jenkins went on to turn out for the first team in friendly fixtures before making his full debut in the August 2008 Carling Cup win against Bristol Rovers.
Watford-born Jenkins is in the second year of his scholarship with the club and he hopes to secure a professional contract with another season of encouraging performances.
