THE Stevenage-born forward is another young player in the first-team squad. Young penned a pro deal in March 2008 after impressing the management with his intelligent runs and link-up play.

Injury forced him to miss a great deal of 2007/08 but his return to the under 18s was an added benefit and he turned out regularly for the reserves at the end of the season too.

The younger brother of former Watford star and England international Ashley, Lewis made his debut for the Hornets coming on as a substitute in the
Carling Cup win against Bristol Rovers in August 2008.

During his first professional season, Lewis appeared 3 more times for the first team against Darlington, West Ham and Bristol City and was a regular in the reserves set-up.

2009/10 will provide Lewis with the platform to showcase his maturing talents and the striker will be looking play a fixed part in the first team squad.
