Adrian Mariappa has already clocked up more than 150 appearances for Watford since making his debut back in 2005.
The Harrow-born defender has been used as both a right back and central defender during his time with the Club.
He was handed the captaincy during parts of 2009/10 and it showed the faith that boss Malky Mackay had in him.
In 2008/09 he had another successful season with the Golden Boys, making 45 appearances and finding the back of the net for the very first time, scoring against promotion winners Wolverhampton Wanderers.
In April 2010, the defender signed a contract extension until the summer of 2012.
