Promising midfielder Toumani Diagouraga came over from Paris with several other Academy scholars and immediately showed why he would appear to have a bright future at Watford with a string of impressive performances in the Academy side.

Equally at home in a sitting midfield role or playing behind the main striker, the versatile Parisian signed a professional contract a few short months after his 17th birthday.

Diagouraga was loaned to Swindon to gain valuable experience during the 2005/06 campaign and due to limited first team opportunities during the Hornets' Premiership stint the midfielder was then loaned out to Rotherham United. He made his only two appearances for the 'Orns during 2006/07 in cup competitions.

Diagouraga's development continued in 2007/08 whilst on loan at Hereford United with Theo Robinson. He now returns to Vicarage Road aiming to impress Aidy Boothroyd.
