POLISH international striker Grzergorz Rasiak joined up with the 'Orns on August 15th.

Rasiak, who has a proven goal-scoring record at Championship level, signed on a season long loan with a view to a permanent move.

The 6' 3" target man has already enjoyed two successful seasons in the Championship, firing both Derby (2004/05) and Southampton (2006/07) into the play-offs with his goals.

The striker will bring a wealth of experience to the front-line having played at Premiership and international level, scoring eight goals in 37 appearances for his country.

Rasiak has had spells in the Premiership with both Spurs and later Bolton.

After a successful loan spell in 2005/2006, Southampton forked out £2m for the front man, which was repaid with 21 goals, including a dramatic late equaliser in the play-off semi final in 2006/2007.
